Makers Mews is the βmake, share + repairβ venue in Ivybridge.
We provide coworking spaces + support for Makers + Designers, teach classes, host events + talks, and share + fix belongings.
Built from repurposed salvaged materials, Makers Mews is housed in a 300 year old barn, overlooking the River Erme + the original βIvyβ bridge our town was named after.
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
We have lost our beloved venue, the MM barn, our Mews muse.
I know.
Brutal.
Weβre all gutted.
We will be moving out in the coming weeks(!), which is going to mean a LOT of graft (and emotions) for the MM crew to handle- weβll update you and the website as and when we can.
For now, the most imminent thing for you guys to concern yourselves with is the flippinβ massive yard sale we will be having to be able to empty this ruddy great barn of all the fun makey things and furniture we have, saving some money for the pivot.
After that thereβll likely be a partyβ¦
Followed by a spa day/massage to undo all the heavy liftingβ¦
Beyond that...who knows!
PS: We still have a couple of awesome classes coming up so make sure to pop by and check those out while you still can!
